Trailer for BYE-BYE BOXBOY! released
I am big fan of HAL Laboratory - which is no secret. One of my favourite - if not my favourite - video game characters is Kirby.
But I also love their puzzle games like the Adventures of Lolo and the BOXBOY! series.
With the Nintendo Switch now on store shelves (we haven’t got one yet) the 3DS is on borrowed time. Nintendo has promised that there is life left in it; and I think they’re telling the truth when they say that but clearly it’s remaining time will be dependent on how successful the Switch is. And despite many, MANY issues, the Switch is doing well… so far.
But there are titles still being released that are must haves for the 3DS and one of those is ‘BYE-BYE BOXBOY!’ - the final instalment of the BOXBOY! series.
The trailer has just launched it looks brilliant. Yes it’s basic but that’s the beauty of the series.
But what we really like, apart from the new gameplay elements (which look slick) are the the easter eggs like being able to unlock a Gameboy colour palette or use Kirby themed amiibo to unlock themed characters.
You can make a Kirby Qbby! This has blown my mind in only the very best of ways.
The game will be available from March 26th on the eShop.
